The 100 day fast is crucial in all alchemical traditions as a deep precursor to taking higher medicines or beginning difficult projects. We undertook such a fast in the securing of the land for the ashram and laboratory, to enter the land cleansed and ritually pure. To bless our cause the last and truly final navapashanam bead is released with special ritual items and gifts not pictured.
