Our traditional spagyric salve is really a labor of love, born out of the necessity of enjoying the forest and using its bounty to heal. Wildcrafting, hiking, foraging, or letting children run… these are precious moments spent outside in the glory of Nature. The insects, poison plants and trees need not vex the celebrations with our alchemical wildcrafted salve. We respectfully harvest a small quantity of abundant jewelweed (Impatiens capensis), broadleaf plantain (Plantago major) and narrowleaf plantain (Plantago lanceolata) at a shrine from a famous Siddha/Sufi Saint and extract them into a unique healing blend of organic black castor oil, kalahari melon seed oil and olive oil. We stay true to the unique spagyric tradition of a sal-ve, the root of the word being sal or “salts” which are the purified minerals of calcinated plants that were extracted to make the salve. We add in skin healing and nourishing plant-based cell salts, all whisked and whipped and infused into organic kokum butter and raw beeswax from untreated hives for a beautiful, creamy healing salve. Great for bug bites, cuts, poison plants, outbreaks, itches, rashes, and a host of other skin issues.*
